Today’s word of thankfulness is a Grocery Store
Went shopping today for our Thanksgiving meal at Winco. What a gift to be able to go to a place and buy all the food items you need for a meal. There are so many in our world that don’t have such a luxury. They spend hours each day getting and preparing each meal. It took us less than an hour to get all the food we needed and though it will take several hours to prepare our meal it will be done in the warmth and comfort of our home. With most of the time spent waiting for the turkey to be done. Today I am reminded that I need to be thankful that I live in a place where this is even possible because for many for which this would be beyond their imagination.
