Meeting Purpose: Please mark your calendars for a special congregational meeting to vote on the formal adoption of Hope’s new Mission, Vision, and Core Values statement into the Hope Lutheran Constitution.
Member Notices: Notices were mailed to each congregation member through the postal service, and the meeting was also announced in last month’s newsletter.
Invitation to Participate: We faithfully encourage all members to take part in this important voting process as we continue moving forward toward our “True North.”
New Mission Statement
Hope, as the engaged hands and feet of Christ, feeds our community’s spiritual and physical needs, embracing all.
New Vision Statement
Our vision is for Hope to be a center of the community that leads to caring relationships including people we have not yet met.
Hope’s Core Values
Because we are loved, we unconditionally love.
Because we are accepted as we are, we accept others as they are.
Because of God’s grace, we are rooted in faith which calls us to reach out and share our gifts with all.
Because God created all, we care for and love all creation.
Because we have hope, we courageously engage in God’s plan for the future
This task is a big step in implementing what we have learned from the Strategic Planning Process that we have participated in over the past several months.
