You will find all the groups at Hope that are open to new members below.  If you are interested in giving any of these groups a try call Hope at 939-9181 or email at Office@hopeeagle.com for contact information.

 

MONDAY GROUPS

Yoga Class: Bring a mat or blanket for yoga class each Monday evening at 7 p.m. in the church lobby.

 

WEDNESDAY GROUPS

Jim Dahl's Artists Workshop:  The artists' group will meet every Wednesday morning at 9:30 am at Hope. We spend some time in Bible study then basically just paint together and sometimes critique each other's work if asked. We are oil painters, acrylic painters and watercolorists. We are beginners and seasoned professionals. Come join us for conversation and painting time.

Women's Bible Study: There is a women's Bible study group which meets each Wednesday from 11:45 to 12:45 p.m. at Carol Godtlibsen's home. We meet to study a book of the Bible together. Call the office for directions.

Hope's Quilt Group:  Hope's Quilt Group is open to anyone 16 years and older.  We meet on Wednersday afternoons at 1 pm. We meet in the classroom at the end of the education hall. We make prayer quilts, quilts for graduating seniors, military quilts, the little prayer pocket quilts, raffle quilts, plus work on our own projects. You don't need to know how to quilt to attend. We learn as we go along. Bring your own project to work on, or help us with a group project. We are currently working on the raffle quilt for Hope's holiday bazaar in November. During the summer, we meet only the second and fourth Wednesday evenings

Music and Choir:  Hope has an excellent group of musicians who accompany our singers each week. There's always room for more voices in the Voices of Hope, who lead our congregation in songs during Hope's 10:30 worship.  Practice is on Wednesday at 7 p.m. and we have a small group discussion time at 8 pm.  We meet on the first Monday of the month at 7 p.m. to plan worship for the month.

 

THURSDAY GROUPS

Thursday Morning Bible Study:  This weekly Bible Study class meets in the Fellowship Hall on Thursday mornings at 10 a.m.   Join us for a lively discussion each week.

SATURDAY GROUPS

Men's Group:  Meets each Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

 

SUNDAY GROUPS

Adult Education on Sunday morning:   Join us at 9:40a.m. for Adult Education time in the Fellowship Hall.

GROUPS THAT MEET OCCASIONALLY

Women's Fellowship Group: meets at 6:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month. We have a short devotion at each gathering--to build our faith as well as to be a springboard for conversation. Join us for an evening of good conversation and fellowship! Check with the church office for the location, as it changes from month to month.

Hope Crafter's Group:  The Hope Crafter's group won't be meeting in March due to Lent, but we will continue our meeting on the first Wednesday of each month starting in April again. As always, bring your craft projects (knitting, crochet, etc.) or just vring yourself and take time to visit and enjoy something warm to drink.
